We met Gilda Duhs one day when she was holding an open house. We were out on our own looking for a new home in the Laguna Beach-Laguna Niguel-Dana Point area. We were not interested in that particular home, but we did like Gilda. We decided after that meeting to ask Gilda to find a place for us. We had some pretty definite and demanding requirements. The home had to have a clear view of the ocean—the more expansive the better. And we had some specific needs as to space and room configuration. We also had a home that had to be sold.

Gilda worked with us patiently for almost a year. She stayed in constant contact and showed us many properties—at least one a week. Some came close to what we wanted; some did not. But she never gave up, and she never got discouraged. It took a while and she spent a lot of time, but she very seldom showed us something that was unsuitable or financially wrong for us. Her perseverance paid off. We found a home that we liked very much, and it met all our specifications and needs. We made an offer that was negotiated and finalized in short order.

Then we began to work on selling our existing home. Gilda worked just as hard on that effort, and we found a buyer in short order.

In both transactions Gilda worked with us in the negotiations, counseled us on the very many and important nuances of inspection and appraisal, made sure the paperwork was completed and correct, and made the process painless and as advantageous as possible.

We would highly recommend Gilda as an agent for anyone considering buying or selling a home. She is highly professional, personable, and dedicated to her clients. If we go looking again in this area, we would definitely want Gilda working with us.
